What is an Energy Audit?
An energy audit is an inspection, survey and analysis of energy flows, for energy conservation in a building, process or system to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output(s).

ENERGY AUDITS/CONDITIONAL ANALYSIS
- We do a complete and comprehensive energy and condition analysis of the home that typically takes 2-3 hours.
- We will perform a Combustion Safety test as well as a Blower door test.
- We will then provide the client with a comprehensive report indicating the home’s performance along with a work scope detailing energy efficiency measures that the homeowner can use to upgrade the energy performance of the house.
- Included will be cost estimates that will provide simple payback as well as yearly energy savings.
These measures typically make the home more comfortable, and can be used in the future for an energy efficient mortgage for the homeowner or future buyers of the home. We will also work with the homeowner to obtain certified and professional contractors that can perform the work using national BPI performance standards.
